Vettes n Jets - Aboard the USS Lexington - September 13-15, 2013

In the summer of 2006 Stephen "Maverick" McCravy and Mike Ross came up with the idea to put Corvettes on the flight deck of the USS Lexington to help raise money for charities and to be what they had hoped as one of the greatest shows ever produced. The event was a huge success and over $30,000 was raised for the USO and the Wounded Warrior Project. In 2013, over 300 Corvettes were loaded on the flight deck helping to raise over $40,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Our own Dave and Janet Dennis along with Mike and Marcia Rowley were there with their Corvettes. Among the SWCC members from Kansas were cars from Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.
